18/06/14 – Games development updates

Hi everybody!
As we said last week, we are currently working on two games. It appears that the development time of Skip (the world traveler) might take a bit longer than we thought, it is a harder game do draw than usual because we are using real places in it.
Here are a few screenshots of the game, next to their real places, just so you’ll see what we’re talking about:

We are also trying to work on a new dialog system. The next time you’ll click on another character in the game you’ll be able to choose your conversation topics.

A few weeks back we talked about The Baron project (a.k.a “the super-special-Carmel-Games-game”), now it is time to give you a sneak peak into our sketches.
Creating this graphic style requires too much time, so we will try to develop another style, one which will allow us to draw all of the game’s backgrounds faster.

The holidays are still far away, but we already started thinking about special treats for Halloween.
We already have Vortex Point 5 scheduled to be released at the beginning of October (only three months away!) and we are trying to come up with another Halloween game aswell, one that will bring together all of the ghosts, ghouls, goblins, werewolves and witches.

Of course, if you haven’t signed up for Carmelo’s Army yet, now is the time 🙂

That’s all folks!
