01/04/14 – Lets go back in time…

Hi everybody!
Since we are still working on Ray&Cooper 2 we decided to show you a little bit of our older work, before Carmel Games was established.

Max Strong – Private eye was our first adventure game ever created. We used 3D software to create the backgrounds, and you couldn’t see the main character during the game.

Golem – This is with no doubt the most difficult game we’ve ever made. The game design is inspired by the classic game MYST. The game has two different endings, depending on the course of action the player takes.

Luke – One of our funniest games. This is the first game in which you could see the main character, he didn’t walk around the screen but you could see him all the time.
In this game you’ll be playing Luke, a young millionaire who’s looking for the love of his life. After one date with a psychotic woman she forces Luke to marry her, and you need to find a way to help him get out of this horrible ordeal before the wedding takes place.

As always we read all of your comments and last time we saws Martijn comments, suggesting us to do “The Carmel Games Super Special game”, so we said to ourselves why not? We pulled out of our office’s secret drawer of ideas one idea that (we think) you will all like. The game, that for now we will call it “The Baron”, is revolving around a buried treasurer in a small town back in the ’50s. You’ll need to make potions and charms and it will also have a few mini games (like hidden objects and words puzzles).
Since it’s “The Carmel Games Super Special game” it is very important to us to give you guys a different from always graphic experience, so we are still working on it’s first sketches.

That’s all folks, see you next time!
