Another lazy Sunday

Hi everybody!
We hope you’ve all enjoyed VP8 (and judging by your comments – you have). To be  honest we initially had bigger plans for this VP episode, some of what we planned was not implemented into the game, but we hope to make up for it in VP9.
There are 2 new games coming your way – Hell of a Night parts 1 and 2 (previously known as Teacher from Hell), featuring Gideon from Escape INC. along with his crazy friend Joe:

Other than that, we are also working on a game which will be based upon The Clue board game (a.k.a. Cluedo), featuring Colonel Ketchup, Miss Bleach, Miss Black, Professor Grape and you – as the detective.

Those of you who frequently follow our posts (and have good memory) probably remember that last we started working on our Halloween game for 2016 at around March. The end result was of course Midnight Cinema, a game that got a lot of attention and positive reviews.
This year we want to be even better (or at least not worse), so we already started coming up with ideas and sketches for this year’s Halloween game.
All we can say for now is that Corpsey won’t return for a second round (nor will Creepo). For this year we’ve decided trying a comical game, featuring horror fans freaks.

Introducing Chronicles of Nerdia by Plinga

We’ve recently added a new game by Plinga – Chronicles of Nerdia. This is in addition to the existing games: Charmfarm, Klondike, Knights and BridesRoyal Story, Farm Days and Family Barn.

The games are available through our website’s top menu, under the Games->Partners category, through our home page under Partners or just click HERE to check it out.

That’s all for today, have a great day!

  • Sorry for being invisible these days but…. I see u are going very well Carmelo and VP8 was a blast!! Amazing guys, well done! Also I won’t ever forget your website or your games and i’ll always be appreciating u :’)

    • Thank you Isabell! It’s always good to know the we are and we will be remembered 🙂

  • Kimberly Lopez

Wow, Vortex Point 8 was really fun! Too bad you couldn’t put everything you wanted to in there, but I’m sure the next game will be really awesome! 🙂 As for the other games, they sound like fun and I’ll be eagerly waiting to play them!

    • Thank you Kimberly, I hope you’ll like our upcoming games also!

  • Joshua

I thought Vortex Point 8 was phenomenal. Just the right difficulty, not too hard and not too easy, with some really clever puzzles, and a twist ending that I was genuinely not expecting. Keep up the great work!

  • Diego Banks

To be honest I was a little disappointed by VP8. Not because it was bad or the worse or anything. But I was expecting a game that would take longer to solve and with more content. But well, by reading this I understand that you did wanted to include more. But yeah, don’t get me wrong it was fun and I liked it, I just had bigger expectations. Anyways hope you guys can make a better game out of VP9 and that you can use all the new idead you had. By the way VP8 ended VP9 can be a direct continuation of that story.

Anyways expecting good things out of these new games (“Hell of a Night” I mean) and too bad we’re not getting a Creepo or Corpsey game I love those characters and I hope we can eventually get more of them. Also why not make the Halloween game the “Gate Keeper 2”?

Hahaha I’m not letting the “Gate Keeper” series just end. Anyways, you guys know better hope you can get awesome results as you are planning 🙂

    • Hi Diego,

Thank you for your comment. I am glad to hear you still liked VP8 despite being a little short than your expected. As we said we wanted to make it longer, but this is as much as we could under the limitations we were constrained to.

Both Hell of a Night will be released adjacently next week, so there’s what to expect!
Creepo and Corpsey won’t be returning for this year’s Halloween game, but that does not mean they’re gone for good 🙂

The Gatekeeper will have at least one more part, but again we’re not sure if it’ll be for Halloween, we still have some plot issues we must resolve first.

      • Diego Banks

Hey guys, thanks for always taking the time ton answer.

I’m glad neither Crepo nor Corpsey are gone for ever and I’m happy to know the gate keeper will at least have and ending. I’m now looking forward tomplaying the new games next week 🙂

  • FlyingPoop

Will Creepo ever be coming back?

    • Could be 😛

      • FlyingPoop

I’m looking forward to it 🙂

  • Mirissa Stewart

I think there needs to be a Sequel dealing with the holy water and subduing the ghost. Perhaps a crossover with Gatekeeper?

    • Hi Mirissa,

The two games (VPs and The Gatekeeper) are very different from each other in style, despite having similar plot tropes. That being said the idea is indeed interesting, we’ll give it a thought 🙂

  • Tanzeer Fatema

Hi is there any idea when is the next game coming

  • Maryam

that really was the longest vortex point ever

    • 10 minutes is still fast, way to go Maryam!

      • Maryam

        thanks carmelo

  • VirgKiss

I can’t wait for The Clue! I think it will be like Mr. Biscuit.

    • It’ll be a combination of Mr. Biscuit and Sherlock Holmes.
