Hi everybody!
So it’s been almost 2 weeks since we released Murder Mall, and for now we’ve got more than 10,000 downloads, which is good. MM is doing much better than HSA, but not as good as a typical escape game, which usually much more downloads.
It’s still too early to predict MM’s performance, but it is safe to say that adventure games are less popular on mobiles. The rating at the moment is 4.4, which is not good (if you want to help us with the rating, feel free to do so HERE).
We guess that most mobile players don’t have the patience needed to hear dialogs or follow a “long” storyline.
That being said, we are planning yet another game for mobile (third time’s a charm?) – Not a typical CG game this time, just a plain escape game, more suited for the mobile community.
We still have plans on making more web games, so we’ll work on that too.
